Mike and Børge are embarking on an exciting journey back north to traverse the Arctic Ocean!
In 2006, Børge and Mike set out on one of their hardest expeditions, North Pole during wintertime. The battle against the cold and darkness on the drifting ice. After more than two months, fighting open water, polar bears, minus 40 conditions and an infection that nearly killed Mike, they reached the Geographical North Pole 23rd of March. This expedition had long been regarded as impossible due to the constant darkness and the extreme cold of the winter months.
